Recently it dropped to 20/21 ct.....if you bought in, you are literally buying its cash profits from this sale.......you get the business free. This is what FA is all about.

I think as of current it is getting more difficult to trade...i dont short sell..really no luck in this type of trade..for me always loss more by shorting.. I think for the moment the situation is bad,,and the risk is greater than the benefit of staying..thought there are some play on some counter which we may join in for some $$...till the reporting period for US side is over  then we wiil have a better ideas...of how serious is the situation...good luck.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	lol. this ain't about onesupmanship, or whose method is better lah. everyone will have their own opinions on how to trade/invest. as long as it makes money for you, don't listen to other ppl. we each trade according to our own personalities, that is all. it's a wide market; lots of ways to make money. just do what's best for yourself. time is your friend in the market, if you are young/started young. elf is sub-30, and have been trading for abt 10 years. just work it out cumulatively; law of compounded returns. everyone thinks buffett makes a lot, but really he just makes 15% pa on average. compound that over 40 years. that's realism. cheers! :)

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Life is short...time is precious...dont waste time in a counter that is no liquid...even it is fundamental sound,just ask what chance this counter is another venture or hyflux...at least ComfortDelGro got more chances..hope u agree.. Take time as your enemy,not friend if u want to conquer time..for u maybe another 70 more if u are 30yrs...for me if lucky 30 more..i am 55..so even if 70..it is long???Oh..forgot to minus sleep..sleep and MC no count .. minus another 10 give 20 yrs..20 yrs of real living...that why to retire at 45 is the best age...dont listen to ppl to retire at 62..then later 66 then later they call u to work all your way to ..kingdom comes..try to retire early..there is more to life than work... Make time work for u and not wait for time to work for you...unless u are as lucky as Buffet..he live long to see his counter grow many times over...he is the envy of many..

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Percentage is misleading...i win 70% of the time,does not means i am making money.....if the 30% of the trade are multi bagger or even 20%...like for example KTL recently,which i bought 315...sold 66...that is good enough to cover those trades that gone wrong when i cut at 7% down....i still end in positive.. So even though u win 70% of the time,and $ u make is still less than the 30% of lossing trade ..you still end up losing..that y it is important to cut early any trade that gone wrong or not moving or range bound like Mercater..i bought 70...sold 64..that is a mistake..cos i chase..but i didnt stay with the mistake by cutting...look at today px..lucky..at time i bet and do chase..temptation.. I understand how ppl feel when losing..stay on,..hope the px will go up soon ..but that is opportunity cost..and your $ not working hard for you..being stagnant here...if you want to long...go for ComfortDelGro or some equivalent...good dividend and now they are at low...not forseeing more market turmoil..we may see even lower px than 1.68..u may wait for lower px...i think most likely u will get it...i too am waiting this and several other... Another factor is greed,look at KTL..actually i was to sell earlier than 66,but i see ppl chase..so i like it run,but bail out at 66...set target..it still run all the way to 89..today sell down to 65 alot of ppl got burn..becos ppl think $1..greedy??? Of course,your Ossia will come back given time ,,the question is when..months??if u dont mind...your $..if u want dividend buy ComfortDelGro....a liquid stock..some counter are like graveyard..little or no buyer when u want to sell....i would like to give some counter to you for your consideration but fear repercussion..so look for yourself...seek and you will find ..DYODD.. I am sorry to tok so much,and hope no offend to cause to let feel sorry for putting your $ in ossia..given time it will come ard..no worry. In conclusion,i am not saying i am smart..i am still playing becos i play by the rule and not emotion...7% down cut lose...10% down from top take profit...so far doing ok... Good luck and best trades..

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	hm yea. i'll let my wise older bro comment on its FA. keke. but technically-wise, you'd play this counter like FJBen. there are parallels in its techs and FA. FJBen had a 13c capital reduction last mth. thereaft, its price naturally dipped, greater than the amt XD (expected in this climate). 70c XD to 58c low. But it's climbed back up now to 70c. consistent accumulation. am expecting ossia to do the same. ie, wld drop to abt 25c range in the next few sessions (that's the chance to DCA in and sq up), and thereafter rise to pre-XD level. so all in all, likely to be gain. just patience will do. you can see the comparative chart of FJBen from 11 dec (CD) to now as a guide.  :)

Even our TA sifu, singaporegal, admits to a success rate of 70%. However, you can mitigate your risk by doing your homework.....as you have done. Today's price level is quite typical of stocks going xd. The poor market sentiment is also a factor. Just remember, in investing, TIME can be your best friend or your worst enemy. So, always invest with money you can spare. What may seem like a 'bad' investment today may turn out to be a gem in time. Also, do not be afraid to cut and take your losses if the fundamentals turns against the stock. As for OSSIA, the fundamentals are still sound. It is currently trading at about a 33% discount to its NAV. Don't be discouraged......and don't let others discourage you.

FA counter; by value rules (NAV), you would buy and just sit in. It's below NAV. DCA at drop. Quite standard rules of engagement. No need to panic or be sad.
