i think our local bank is still okay... overall market down because of US market sentimental.. as for US banks, I believe more downside until next year, then, you will see Warran Buffet starts to buy small US local banks... He always pick some good stocks during the crash... but the crash now is not BIG YET.. another 35-45% down is considered as BIG CRASH.. now is just peanuts. |

Well. If you are a believer of fundamentals and is a long term investor of 1~2 years, bank stocks seldom disappoint. The dividends and capital gain is definitely worth the effort and the wait. |

Such questions are to be addressed to the stock market monster beast... The beast does not respect anything humans call "fundamentals"... And this is one of the many reason many lost big money in the stock market... Actually, the stock is not based on fundamental values, but time... which means to say all the fundamentals being equal and the same, prices will vary tremendously... At one time, it is at a certain price... But months later, it may be double the price ... or half price!!!... such is the beast's nature...  |
