I do not know who get the shares. If the investment banks or managers get them we have less worry, but if the broking houses get them they probably sell them soon. |

Sorry i meant entitled.....since they announced completion of placement share...listing and quotation of the placement share on the official list of the sgx-st is expected to take place on 27 mar 2007 |

Those who received the placement shares can sell from 27/3/07 . Their cost is 3.6cents. Supposing a rich trader paid $18000 for 500000 shares, the floating profit when the last traded is 4.5c is $4500. Will he take profit which is 25% ? There are 171.5 million overhanging. |

I don't think you need to subscribe or apply... they are just increasing the number of shares available to the public. More shares out there make it more liquid.... which is good, I guess. If its a private placement, then the stocks are "reserved" to someone, usually the big boys. |

More shares out in the market place probably means the share price will fall right? Law of supply and demand .... increase the supply and if demand doesn't increase, the price falls. |
