No problem. I'm still learning myself as well! I think when you trade, you got to set a risk limit for yourself. If your stock hits that low price, you must force yourself to sell it away to cut your losses. I think its painful but necessary. |

the oversold or overbought condition is based on mathematical formulas (Williams %R or some people prefer RSI). When a stock is oversold, this does not mean that the stock price will then rebound. In fact, the stock price may continue stay oversold for some time or even drop further - becoming even MORE oversold before reversing its trend. You should not use oversold/overbought conditions alone just to determine whether to buy or sell. You should just treat it as just one useful tool in your bag. In the case of Jurong Tech, if you look at its A/D line, there seems to be a tendency to downtrend somemore... even though the stock is already oversold. |
