x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	the share pays $0.05125 per year in perpetuity for every $1 shareholding (ignoring semi-annual compounding to make it simple.)   the yield from similar securities like hyflux preference shares is around 5.11% pa.   so the price of genting is $0.05125/0.0511 =   $1.003. if the price hits $1.004, the market is expecting a yield of $0.05125/$1.004 = 5.1%
