one more shares for today for really aggressive short term trader: united envirotech.. broke all time high again on friday.. it is generally  advised to not  catch a stock that is already way above the 200dma and at an all time high, as the stock is considered expensive or overpriced.. but i personally subscribe to my own version of darvas box trading method, which helps to limit the risk whenever i trade... e.g. for this trade the top of the previous box is at $1.015, hence, depending on the buyer/sellers numbers on monday, I may buy at friday's close of 1.025 or somewhere near 1.02, and put my stop loss strictly at 1.01.  The difficulty of this method is that take profit is on a trailing basis, hence I do not have a figure for TP, until the chart plays out, but the risk is around $0.01-0.15 definitely, considerably small risk to catch the ride up.. |

Hi, I hope to start a thread to discuss potential trades based on chart patterns...  just to start off my current watchlist includes UPP and ThaiBev, UPP looks like forming a inside bar trading formation based on weekly chart, and if it breaks out of $0.38, I will buy.. how long it will stay inside this strong weekly bar, no one can say though... as for thaibev, everyone can see that head and shoulder might be forming, but from what i see, a hammer formed 4 days back.. aggressive traders may want to buy at 0.55 and have a tp of 0.58.. otherwise, can also trade the break down of 0.54, which is likely to see thaibev being sold down hard, especially if the break of 0.54 comes after the right shoulder is formed... hope to see a healthy conversation with no flaming.. thanks guys |
