Hi trymyluck, thanks for the pointer. Yeh, any FA guys can share some info on how this counter will move in the next few months. Am vested at 1.55 and then it come down after the CIMB report. If it has no chance of moving up I will have to let it go rather than waiting. Thanks and cheers! |

hi Conga guy, i think u should be asking FA guys for medium term outlook. TA guys only look at short term outlook. if ur looking at short term outlook, be warned Straits Asia very volatile counter. big swings within a week, can notice already went up to $1.68 then back to $1.42 then again cheong to $1.55 and now back to $1.48. im neither TA nor FA guy just look at company's outlook. remember Straits Asia not only a pure coal counter. its transforming to an oil and gas play in indonesia too plus it is into metal trading. so assuming its a Bull market in 3 months time, should easily reach $1.8 with the help of positive news earnings and new Analyst ratings. for short term there is a CIMB report which was saying to sell Straits Asia as they estimate value only $1.36 good luck. vested as well |

Has Straits Asia any steam left? Looks like the correction last couple of days had cooled it down abit. Coal mining continues and demand for coal is ever increasing from China, Australia and Indonesia and whoever needs high energy coal to produce electricity. Oil price is spiking again and who knows how much coal prices will go up. Any TA guys can give some bearings on this counter? Which way will it go in the medium term say 3 - 5 months from now. Am vested and much appreciate. |
