Hi sorry late reply. I apply through UOB, cheaper at $1 only. Then check Internet Banking to see if the money has been refunded. The underwriter has already executed stabilising action buying at prices below IPO price (check SGX announcements) Well, they will send the price up (as seen in Banyan Tree, MacArthurcook, THBEV etc) so i'll exit with just enough money to pay for my recently-increase-more-than-2%GST increase- teh halia. |

SINGAPORE, July 11 (Reuters) - Shares in Taiwan's Financial One fell 6 percent below issue price in their Singapore stock market debut on Wednesday after the US$169 million offering had met with poor investor interest. Shares in the company, which lends to small businesses, stood at S$1.07 ($0.705) by 0127 GMT in a broadly lower market <.STI>. The stock was priced at US$0.75 a share last week, the lower end of the indicative price range of US$0.75-US$0.90. Financial One, which has the biggest share of Taiwan's leasing market, sold 225 million shares, or 27.5 percent of its enlarged share capital, valuing the company at $616 million. |

DJ MARKET TALK: Financial One May Have Lacklustre SGX Debut (2007-07-10 06:59:00) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 0659 GMT [Dow Jones] Financial One Corp (CL9.SG) may have lacklustre debut on SGX tomorrow, according to trader at a local bank. Taiwan-based company priced its Singapore IPO at US$0.75/share, bottom end of US$0.75-US$0.90/share band tipped. Trader says pick up in the grey market is not that good; hasn''t heard of any bids above US$0.80/share. The 225 million-share offering will generate US$169 million in gross proceeds, for expansion in China, South East Asian markets.
