Feel sorry for F& N shareholders, the huge profit from sales of APB will likely be distributed to ThBev shareholders and also to acquire F& N- just a thought

I also believe that $9.55-the dividend will be a very good floor price, if you can get it below that will be a good buy. Long term should be able to break $10 but need holding power. | ||

Haha.. Disclaimer is only the formality ... As I am not the stock analyst , not supposed to advise , I am giving my point of view . I have been benefited from a few occasions similar to this scenerio, whereby , offeror offered lower than market price and hope to garner more than 90% for delisting . Yet , finally , the stock is still listed in the market and sprung back to its fair value ... One of the examples is Nera Tel, you could google it to find out yourself. Give yourself sometimes for it to come back to its fair value. This counter has been in my watchlist , but have never go in until recent opportunity such as this arises.... I noticed it was fluctuating within a few cents . I am going in again if it drops further to my targeted/analysed price. And I will be going in big time..... I quote someone from STX OSV made this comments..if applied to F& N will work??? Since Thai guy Chaoren has indicated he intends to keep F& N listed having offer.50% becomes unconditional,but unlikley he will get > 90% do F& N will remain listed and maybe price will soar from base $9.55...some american based investors have bought from > $9.60 a significant stakes will unlikley give in to the Thais..yr opinion plse |

Correction:---after ex-dividend on 5th Feb, the Thai need only to buy back at $ 9.43( less 12 cents of dividend paid out)...hence offer price automatic become $ 9.43 and NOT $ 9.55

F & N comfirmed takeover at $9.55,hence if U buy now at 9.56 (1.632mil selling) and Buying $1.55 (66.78mil)) and by this Fri 1 Feb ex dividend dividend $120 per lot payable Feb 21 Taking into account brokerage about $25 per lot U still have $95 (120-25) and even when F& N go ex dividend and dropped a bit Thail Billionaire will be obliged to buy back at $9.55 and hence sure win situation. Of course the disadvantage is that your $9560 plus will be tied up for 2-3 months.The general ofer to minority holders at $9.55 is comfirmed but we must book the seller at $9.56 and not join the queue of 66.78mil to buy at $9.55,worth the sacrifice at 1 cts only..share your views please |
