It was higher on hopes of a turnaround in earnings in the first quarter to September as it benefits from cheaper flash memory prices, dealers said. They said higher sales ahead of the year end in line with the seasonal surge in demand are also buttressing hopes for a turnaround. "Creative's first quarter (earnings) should recover as the benefits of cheaper flash (memory products) show through, while we expect better guidance for the second quarter to December on the back of a seasonal uptick," Credit Suisse said in a note to clients. Credit Suisse rates Creative an "outperform" with a target price of $12.90. It expects Creative to achieve a net profit of US$11m in the three months to September, reversing the US$13m net loss posted in the quarter to June. |

creative will be looking to break resistance level of $10.80 tomorrow. Looking back at the past few weeks it is quite resillient so if Nasdaq performs well tonite, it could hit $11.00 tomorrow. |

Ha! Finally agree with you on this one. Low vol is a sign of fragility. BUT with all negative news factored in and dividends coming in Dec, I should think it will have a firm support level! |
