Not good as compared to last year. That should explain why the stock has been down from 60 cents level to 24 cents. However, this drop is rather great. At this price, it should have easily discounted the drop in net profit. In fact, i think the selling is rather fierce esp due to the market steep correction recently. Thus, i recommended investor to accumulate and hold as this is an attractive price to buy in. Note however that Sunvic has to rebound from the drop in profit though for the price to move up again. Be heartened that this is a cpf approved stock so most investors will at least have holding power. At this price, upside gain is higher than downside drop.....so i would advocate slow accumulating of this stock... |

if you have some money in your cpf to buy stock under ordinary account, you may want to buy some and keep. Take note, you must buy those stock approved by cpf. Some stock is not approved and if you buy it, your remiser will ask you to pay cash after t+3, and if the stock dip, you will suffer contra loss if you did not pickup the stock. |

Melvin, You can also use cpf to average down as well since you bought at 58c. Look at the longer term. Jiutian dropped to 39c before staging a spectacular rise to current level. We can't really compare these 2 stocks but at this level, you can consider buying some... |

NTA is Net Tangible Asset and it is the instrinic face value of the company. Total Cash and Asset minus the debts. I usually assume that item 7 - Net Asset Value of the Quarterly Report as = to Net Asset Value. And, Of course, it is not true but can be treated as an approximate. As this is the only info I can get hold. If you have paid 58cts for a 21 cts company : a) You are actually buy into the future of the company. Eventually, you are thinking it will reach 58cts. b) Or the earning return looks like a 58cts company. You can recover your investment within a reasonable time according to the current market ave rate of return. For example, Singtel NTA is abt $2 but trading at 3.5. But they look like $3.5 because it takes only 12 or so years (PE -Price-to-Earning Ratio) for you to make back the 3.5 you have invested. So pple will be willing to buy it at above NTA or NAV. Interestingly, if you stripped down Singtel to the copper wire and sell it off. You will probably get back $1 (much less than $2 to say). |

NTA only 21.6 cts. Q1 results fell 63% y-o-y in May report. If you look at the absolute, Q1 only make 8.3M RMB or 1.66m SGD. A bit low for a 174M company. Also, newly listed in Feb07, not much track record. Despite a few rounds of market action by BB to lift the stock.....remember, how they pulled from 36 to 43 in 1 hour. It should not fall below 30cts I guess......Should be the good aftersale services, courtesy of IPO manager. Amateur like me would prefer price closer to NTA. Just like buying a Camry at 88 instead of 176....just my thoughts.... Seriously, I suggest you talk to your broker when you make a investment decision. I would also advice you to have a real human trader - for big time investment. Online for hit and run 2+ bid play.... |
