Kepland buying in china, CPL buying in australia, and sg, vietnam...They are all blue chips, and this is the " best" time to snap properties and land when there is turmoil...althoug is a very risky, but they would have taken the calculated risk- and they knew " no risk, no gain" theory...they simply cannot wait till economy turn positive, and start to buy, by then prices may be go up severalfold...thats is the reason small player always has its disavantages to the big players....this implies in stock markets...long investors who have deep pockets, could able to average down, as they know there is no one can predict the future- as long as they could buy, with average down, at the end of the day, although they may buy a slight higher price--when the bulls starts its run- they will always yhe biggest winners..cos they could hold when price down, and they will also willing to hold if price move even higher...thats the reason a lot of investore who nought cpl from3 to $1, and able to hold for next few yrs, when CPl rises to $7/-,,,and they sell, they make a sum which many have to earn for several or tens of yrs....Long term invetors main issue is---1) holding power 2) deep pocket , and able to alloocate in stages 3) take critising, and in belief...4) patient , and brave enough to load more when the price moves down to his TP ....and even more when down to lower tp... Traders may totally disagree, and both have their own theory...investor have the patient to wait, and able to withstand shock, but traders cannot, they cut loss whenever their price drops to their stop loss level...so, not need to argu who is right and wrong...today may be a crisis, but that does not mean crsis will last forever...buy when its low, and wait patient for the upturn..and pls don predict...as no one in this earth can predict..even US president and our LKY says that economy is the hardest to predict, cos it involves alot of mechanism, from all types of idustries...to yr hawker toilet keeper....lol if one has study economy- one will understd it...be GDP, GNO, fiscal policy, monetary police, DD and SS, opportunity cost and many theories.. alll are involved in the economy...Stock market is a guage to economy and not the another way... Alot see that if the market is down, economy is down-- not really, it is actually when economy is down, market will dowwn....so when market is good, does not mean stock market is good. Etc...casinos, car business, food business are good insg, but still market is doown....show u an example...so wake up---- stock market also affected by news , generated by agencies, which control by big instituation ., who manupilated by the funds and govt ...if one spent more times into reading and reaseach...one will know... another good example- F& N is a money making company, who F& B (have not even affected by crsis) and most of its properties had been sold, so who can explain why its stocks dived to 5.56? Unlike hongkong,(abt 7 million population)   already facing limiations of land and rental is 20%or more than expensive in singapore. Very simple strategy :  we can tear down old buildings and build...... to ttract foreign investors to come here, and why not? stable, clean, good law or order and you name it.
