ASA got major shareholder Shanghai Jinming Investment Group Co., Ltd as financial support. The management is also taken over by people from SHJM. In the agm, they say that an exit offer will be given for those who want out. | ||

Very common la. If local investors don't see value in the company, it is best to delist and list elsewhere. The lesson is - Don't invest in companies which you and your peers don't appreciate. Noble Group IPO'ed in HKSE in 1994 before delisting itself and IPO'ing in SGX in 1997. WHY? Because the company business wasn't appreciated back then. HK investors prefered real estate companies. Very common. Don't blame people for your own investment mistakes. Nobody forced you to buy S Chips. You know the risk and you still decided to buy. |

I agree w the part abt SGX is to be blamed... w so much saga going on with the s-chip. Maybe there should a listing rule that if the owner wants to delist, they have to buy the company at IPO px... then all these companies will not suka suka... delist their companies. I'm so sick of all the delisting antics deployed... especially after reading the Confession of a S-Chip CEO. Wonder why the same thing do not really happen in HKSE.. do they have more stringent rules? to keep companies listed there afloat. I really hope that the new ang-moh (a Swedes?) will shake thing up, not a little, but A LOT! |

I believe there is NO other option except to sell out at 2.5c. SGX is to be blamed for this saga. Very clearly today's buyers see value in ASA at 2.5c. Some 7m shares were traded today (closing px 2.5c) & who dare to buy at the juncture ? Must be the majority shareholders themselves. If u look at the ASA properties in China, they are grossly under-valued. SGX is helping the majority shareholders to buy up ASA at dirt cheap prices with this delisting panic. Thereafter what is to prevent the majority shareholders from seeking new listing again, say in Shen Zhen or HKSE. "Credit" must be given to Hsieh FOOL Hua (ex-SGX) for bringing in all the shits from China. Recently this FOOL is appointed Special Adviser to Temasek CEO. No prizes for guessing what will happen to Temasek down the road! SGX got all the shit listing that are rejected elsewhere like London SE or HKSE. Now u see many good ones seeking to exist SGX thru dual listing in HKSE. I'm not vested in ASA.

I think everybody know what happened to ASA. But what everybody don't know is that you are writing in funny font these days..... Are you ill ? or is it somekind out of body experience has happened ? heeeeee
Fortunately, there is an exit offer......and the company is appealing to SGX....NTA about 7 Scts.
