x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Singapore conglomerate Straits Trading Co Ltd will acquire a 20.1 per cent stake in Singapore-listed ARA Asset Management Ltd for S$294.4 million (US$238 million) from Cheung Kong Investment Company and a firm fully-owned by ARA's Chief Executive John Lim. " This strategic alliance in real estate will enable STC to unlock value from its property business and create new avenues to expand and diversify its real estate portfolio," Straits Trading said in a statement on Monday. ARA also made the announcement in a separate statement. ARA is an affiliate of Hong Kong tycoon Li Ka-Shing's Cheung Kong Group and manages a number of real estate investment trusts. " ARA will also manage STC's entire investment property portfolio (other than hospitality-related assets) as a separate account subject to signing of definitive agreements," STC said.

Jun/Jul it went up to 7.50 yr high owing to 1.5 div offer. when STI was around 2750 in Mar this yr , it hovering around 6.60. if CO bubble burst, world economy will improve and global market will gradually gain ground. in that case STI will improve as well. then we may see some light on this burger to hit back above 6.xx leow. AK view only loh. BTW, yes BT said this is the best time to market some good stock??? Buy in dip principle!!! for your case, if u still holding it, then avg applicable to you loh. your choice liao.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	its a rule set to prevent speculation, either up or down. unless there is changes recently. the common saying in global stock market is " the stock plunged until stop trading, until further notice" STtr now has only one buyer, asking for 5.93. last done was 6.10. yesterday closing was 7.48. if you bought at 7.50, you can't run at this moment, as you ought to sell at 5.93 to exit, making a loss even collecting the div.

Dun worry, x your fingers. Wake up early, login on line trading, fill in the Sell transaction order, stdby for any price ranging fr 6.72-7.27 to let go this burger. If heng, get half of 1.50 div also jadi liao. lastly, if you are not greedy, contact your broker to let go your holding any price it not dropping below 1.50 margin. however, u may hv problem if you are your broker small timer, he takes care for the big fish first.
