the depth of selloff no one knows (even you use technical analysis)....but i think the index will range from 2420 - 2700 for year 2009....now i am 90% cash (except holding 1-2 long term counters such as informatics education)...and i am going to take the opportunity of the selloff to load up till 90% equity within the next 6 weeks...if under the worst case near 2420, i will put all my money in (my bet is the market will recover again after the selloff as the worst should be over...remember)...but i think i will average over the next 6 weeks as no one knows the depth of the selloff and does not want to miss the opportunity to enter the market again...and by then the selloff will be done...good luck :) NB: You do not need to wait till 24 |

probably factored in already? anyway its been pretty low volume recently... where do you see the next support to be at? i looking at the weekly charts...the region of 2530-2550, 2430...then 2260 ...possible entry levels

i am just in to the market for 3 months, quite young, 26 only. i think too young may have emotional problem for trading, too rush and easy to panic. accumulated a bit profit in July, Aug, but sep and oct burned half the previous profit away. Trying to control my feeling and trade wisely now. if convenient, can check the your PM from me?

the BIG one (plunge) from US market is not yet there and STI is already brusied...does not bode well for STI for the next few weeks (but the depth of selloff is always unknown even to me as only Market will know)...will see and do not be panic but be discliplined...good luck :) | ||||||||

please do not average over China Stocks or Penny Stocks as i have told many people over the years....it will kill you as one does not understand the companies and culture...only for good local blue chips and mid caps (preferably with good proven track record of dividend)...good luck :) |

No matter what when you decided to play shares Rule number 1. Always set your exit point. Loss or Profit. Do not be the one holding the ball I know people that brough China Hongx for $1.70 and brought again at $0.80, $0.60 and even $0.18 to average down. So she/he was stuck with a huge sum of money at a huge paper loss. Too bad i was not around to advice her/him during that time..... Anyway have your EXIT Point Set :) |

when people are looking to sell, i am looking to buy within the next 6 weeks....though the sell off is expected, the depth of sell off is unknown and one can solve the problem through averaging (note only for blue chips and good mid cap, NOT for PENNY stocks)...by the time of this selloff, most stocks should have come down quite a bit from the peak and i am looking at gain for the last leg of STI rally which will end in May 2010...good luck :) | ||||||||

as expected, market sell off....however, one need not be too pessimistic and should take the window of opportunity to load up some blue chips (not one time but over a period using averaging over 6 weeks) and good middle cap stocks...i propose you do it over the next 6 weeks (every friday or whenever STI is down not up until December)...it is not difficult to obtain at least 12% gain when the market recover next year till May 2010...do not be afraid and good luck :) NB: Only for those who have holding power (or extra cash till next May 2010)....Do not contra !!!!

Tonight Key Events: 1) GDP number and the weekly jobless claims report 2) Reports Earning: Exxon Mobil and Procter & Gamble. Good luck. GDP is the key event tonight ... even reports earning beat expectation ... as long as GDP fail to meet expectations >3% ...... Nightmare is coming |
