1000 shares as usual.. I have pretty good luck with US shares, Morgan Stanley, Las Vegas and Citigroup (1st trade) had pocketed me 5 digits gain.. now, looking at Citigroup again, the price I bought this time is even cheaper than last time... last time, i bought at 5.50 and sold at 8... now 4.71 .. aiming for 8 as well...

i think it will go down to $3 tonight.. .. I alerady set a cost averaging at $2.90 already.. why I bought last night is i don't want to miss any bull run later.. hee.. US stock easy to "have quick buck!" but, i always buy when it crash.. so, whether it can crash further, i am not sure, but i know it will climb back a few more days later.. i hope this time is the same.. keep my finger crossed.

I am using POEMS,... yes, t+3, but i am not doing contra la.. unless in 3 days time, it jumps to $6... i am aiming to sell at $7 in medium term.. commmision is cheap la.. about USD 30 per trade.. based on your size. |

For etrade account, when you sell, the proceed less commision goes into your balance account immediately.. there is no t+3. | ||||

Alligator, how about when you SELL shares - is the proceed creditted to your acct immediately or have to wait for T+3 ? thks in advance....

Freeme, i think that depends on your broker, and there are so many of them. with Etrade, you need to keep a sizeable account balance (i think it is USD50K), then you can trade with per trade of commision amount to USD 9.99 per trade regardless of how much you trade but that should be within your account balance. Yes, you can trade down to one share. As your account have enough balance, your trade is transacted IMMEDIATELY and account balance deducted immediately. so there is no t+3. |

ladies and gentleman, I am back to the US market... this is my 3rd strikes. I bought Citigroup last night at USD 4.50 ! I know tonight, it can drop further, USD 3 ? USD 2? but, I just want to buy something which is much cheaper than GIC ! his price is USD 20++, and my price is USD 4 ++ , hee hee... by the time, GIC breakeven, I pocket 400% gain first... my cost averaging will start when it drop below USD 3. wish me luck... next target- Bank of America, target to enter USD 7. |
