STI 1200 is definitely possible !! year end or next year after CNY ??!? hee...just need to wait for airline sector(so far no bankruptcy news yet)...and a few other major sectors to see who get to go bottom up 1st..haha...of cos other event like inauguration of new USA president hopefully that is a non-event..if those are BIG events(eg. assasination...etc) haha...STI <1000 IS ALSO POSSIBLE hor ! :D |

dont think will hit 1200. Whats the motivation to drop s low? 1400, 1600 are strong barriers. See 1800 so hard to break. The last time it touched 1500 and move up already. | ||||

I think for STI to go down to 1200; it has to revisit 1400 and break thru. The last resistance is very strong and this doesn't mean that it can't - in such a dire environment, anything is possible, though! Just my point of view only and please don't bang your head on the wall 'cos of that :) Cheers! | ||||

It does not matter whether he stated "noise" or not, it may create fear for a faint-hearted newbie & irrational panic selling without finding out first whether it is a fact, which I think is evil & most likely with ulterior motive. We should rightfully refrain from posting "noise" nor "rumour", be it stated or not.

I am not cool, I am used to the situation. 1 day Big up follow by 4 day of small down. Didn't I say correction again ? So what is not falling these day ? Anyway. Oil touch 59 again today. But live goes on, still play stocks. But the timing has really has to be dead right. BTW, can anyone with a sound mind tell me HOW TO TA FA these days !!!! All the trend line are DISTORTED !!! FA good companies are dumped. And hell some people still give me a bad post. If you have not make a lot of money from stock last year, I suggest you don't enter the market now. THIS IS NOT A 3 MONTH EVENT !!!! lookc, not wacking you, just want borrow your post. Anyway, it is only money....there still many important things to do in life and try to be as cheerful as possible. My prof once told me, only CONFIDENCE can fix this type problem. But that does not mean asking retail investor to just go and jump in. My name is Andrew, this is how sincere I am to this forum.

richtan, andrew did say they are noise/rumours in his last statement, of course ta/fa r high probabilities n factual respectively and perhaps, at tis point in time, news out of any country on any issue/matter [ which wud surely affect markets, 4 better or worse] wud definitely assist us to gauge whether sti wud or wud not test 1,200 and if going to, then we can prepare ourselves for it but if not going to, then we individually take whatever actions which we think suit us individually............cheers! | ||||

I would appreciate if u can kindly refrain from posting such thing as "noise" or "rumours", no value-added, degrading the forum heree and instead post facts, FA & TA.
U must have ulterior motive, hoping to scare & talk down the market, unfortunately the mkt is to big & it is a futile effort.

Heard some noise a few days back that there will be a major correction worldwide again. According to the noise, starting this Friday (The usual correction window) to next week. The reason, too many companies are failing in US. GM, owe simply too much debt and so huge it will takes hundreds of years to repay. So Chapter 11 is the answer. Circuit City : Loan application is very very tight in US, both companies are labour instensive industry. A lot of restsuants closed shop. More pple will be out of jobs Let see how these noise are true...... |
