Wah why this stock like freefalling. Anyone comments on how much more it will fall? I'm thinking of buying it at $3.50 and holding it for the long term. Wait for the cycle to reverse as shipping industry seems to be cyclical. Advice pleasee. My personal finance blog |

That's not a theory... it is a very sound principle... But the problem is you applied it at the wrong time... You must apply it when everyone you meet or in contact will shivering and tremble at the mere mention of the words 'stock market'. Not to worry, the time will come. But right now, there are still many who are 'value investors' who will snap up 'cheap' stocks. You must have patience... time and the trend is your friend...

Its 1H 08 earnings increased by 10% on the back of 8.3% increase in revenue. This was due to higher revenue fr all divisions except for Ppty Div which was affected by the dampened mkt condition. Its 3Q07 mtg was on 25 Oct 07. Likely uncle Lim will announce its record book by end this week. |

Some one should try to see if keppel is still recruit jobs. The outcome will tell u whether they are going to slow down. Labour intensive industries need alot of employees, to fulfill their book orders. If they are not recruits the sign will appear they are experiencing a slowdown. If u know of ppl got retreunch from their. Sign are really bad, dump the stock. The keppel shipyard employee pay is not very competitive de. Long long hours, under the sun , not so good perks and risk higher than most other industries. They have a hard time recruiting ppl from singapore to work for them, if they are not recruiting during this period means they will most likely miss analyst forcast. |

This counter was trading below $4 before Y05. I have been with this counter since Y03 but sold it at $10 before the final phase of the bull. Can start slowly accumulating this counter now . It's will bear fruits when the crisis has settle. | ||||

My inlaw got 1 at about 6 and it went all the way to 17. Did not sell, drop to 14. Not sure if they have sold. Hopefully. During Sars, I've sold off this last time too early. I got at 4, sold off at about 5-6. I'm going to make another round of try if it drops to about 4. All the best. | ||||

I heard a friend still holding a $11 share.....very sad.... When I asked my wife to sell at $12++....got wacked because it jump to 13+ and was down hill all the way. That was just few months ago....izzit ??? Tonight I am going to demand a lunch treat from her..... |

ayoh, forumers just pulling your legs lah. jangan tension. your facts are true. yes, as I said earlier, I dumpped my Kcorp around 8.60, with losses though after collecting the 55cts div. Done this before I dumpped Kepland avg 5.20, with losses as well, after collecting the 20 cts div. Then ppty was declining. ha ha, bullets holes all around my body liao. just can't do anything now, stay relax loh as I got high blood pressure ones. cheers up folks.
