Tks all the invaluable inputs on software dependant guessing games. All along AK thought likewise, hence could hardly go to attend. There are numerous these types of free lectures on the street.

i'm aware that one of them "teach" in US mkt ...... their game plans may not be too suitable for local mkt. It works better in US context. (e.g different women u need different tactics.... ) the other, i suspect... works with the local mkt (since giving SGX signals), but like cashiertan mention ...i "dont like buying on semi transparent black box and depends on it for making money"..... Can trading be that simple....?? ppl give u the signal to buy and sell? If u read most books on star trader they tell u is hard works..... lots of hard works.....im not saying that u should not go or u should go for such courses, but go there with open mind........ |

Hi Scotty, I won't advice you to take these courses. As I know, good course will teach you how to catch a fish properly, not give you the fish away. Having their course will only make you depend on them. |

Basically, as long as a system, any system, prevents the devastating losses we see so commonlyin the retail stock market scene, it is worth the price asked. And such systems taught typically makes money for its adherents in the long run... |

urcano, i understand what you meant. but what if i tell u that all 3500 of them get the same signals on the same few sgx counters everyday? in the way t3b is programmed system where u are told to key the buy and sell price, hence saxobank platofrm of pending orders are very useful. also it makes trading more mechanical and less prone to humane error. the bad part i dun like is that basically it is like buying on semi transparent black box and depends on it for making money. |

Yah. Something like that. Buy and sell triggers. My friend says the difficult part is actually having the discipline to cut loss (if you don't have the stop loss function). He says it is about 60%-70% accurate.

Understand that this system is programmed trading, which is very popular in US.At certain buy price, the program would trigger buy. Likewise, at certain sell price, the program would trigger sell.It can also have a stop loss system. In other word, no human emotions are involved. You dont have to watch the share price daily. Just key in the system in the night and then go to sleep. The job of buying and selling and stop loss are all done by the computer. This is my understanding. Please correct me if I am wrong.

My friend also says it works - not 100% but at least 60% of the time. The system tells you buy and sell points. I'll be going to the seminar to find out more http://www.sharejunction.com/event/registration_dojo.html

Thanks AnthonyTan. Nope. Don't remember testimonials from people who lost money. cyjjerry85. Based on what he is earning from his stocks and cost fees etc, think overheads, advertising fees should be immaterial. cashiertan. Well, if he already has 3500 students up til date, means that he has already amassed approx $12.25 mil. With so many counters spread out over so many markets, and with 3500 students, it's quite impossible to push any counters in a certain direction. Unless all 3500 students are millionaires with lots of capital to spare. From the looks of the people who attended the preview, quite hard to imagine most are millionaires. Anyway, I think it'll be a better idea to get 5 people together, pool the money and nominate the person who is most suited to attend the course. Then share the online program. Cheaper and more logical. Since what I need is the forum and the online program. |

Tks all the sifu's inputs on this interesting trading school. Seems it has its value. Hmm, one find day must talk to my friend who had attended the course recently. As some sifus say, they rather prefer to stick to their own formula, after using for decades, to trade. Cheers

in a certain way i agree hence i rather use my own customized systems. the key is whether if they will tune their systems time to time to adapt to the changning markets. what i like abt t3b is that with so many students in singapore, with the signals they get is common, here is a chance that most of them will enter the same few counters at the same to push the counter up or down.

I wouldn't say its a lousy program. It is just one way people trying to make a living. The speaker or speakers in any of these talks like NAC are usually ahead and the winners of the whole program. I was told that some guys flew in from America for a few days of talks of theories and flew off with US$70,000. But it is their skills to stir up the crowd. One has also to look at the economic situations in any place, country and circumstances. I beleive there are about 3 to 4 opportunities in each life cycle. The old condratieff wave, 7 year cycle, 14 year cycle, or 10 year cycle are simply trends. With fastings. changing world, the cycles are getting shorter. And phenomenons like new inventions like tulip bulb, railways, steamboats, planes and faster and larger planes, telephones, internets, wireless, etc usually goes parabolic and then find a level of sustainability. Presently, the world is hyping commodities, biofuels, and so many companies are taking on new business in biofuels, recyle-energy, palm oil, jathopra (or is it jatophra). Names like 'China', "Ener', 'Ener'. 'Bio' will cause exitement no doubt. Some will do extremely well, most will go down, creating losers while the few running the hype companies rake in big bucks and disappear from the scene. Better beleive in real things. |
