Definitely nothing against the fundamentals for Synear (just gotta watch its baseline production costs and effects on profit margins). There is always a demand for food... and we're looking at a really big Chinese domestic market. (Conservatively, there're more than 1.3b mouths to feed... take only 1% of this no. of ppl who probably are the targeted mkt of Synear in urban Chinese cities... multiply this by the percentage mkt share of Synear in the dumpling industry.... I seriously do not think its mkt size is insignificant). The only problem is in times of mkt turmoil... Fundamentals will be forgotten. Even technical analysis will only give a rough guide to likely target price moves. For me I'll wanna see sign of strength or increased vested interests b4 going in. Just wanna see how far the shortists are gonna go. I'm not so sure that it would go below 54c. |

At 58 cents tomorrow, will you buy in? Will it beomes 54 cents the next day and 50 cents the following Monday? I think we have to look into the fundamental of this counter. SYNEAR is still making profit. It's not that they are making a loss in earning. I see that this sell down is being manipulated. They indeed deserve a punishment for bad earning, but the selldown to this extend, I felt that it is being overplayed by the BBs. I am happy to buy in if it hit 62 cents tomorrow. Not vested! |

Buyer beware. IPO price @$0.54 - 1,375,000,000 issued & paid shares - 30% free float to public. 198,000,000 approx. transacted in 3 days.Weighted Avg Price past 3 days below current price. Some interesting snippets from their 4Q2007 Report. "Currently, the Group leases production premises, including factory premises, warehouses and staff quarters in Zhengzhou City from Henan Sinian Establishment Joint Stock Co., Ltd., which is owned by the Company's substantial shareholder, Mr Li Wei. Rapid urbanisation and expanding city borders in the PRC in recent years, especially in Zhengzhou City, have resulted in arising trend of industrial plants and facilities being relocated away from the city area to more suburban locations. The area surrounding Jinshui District in Zhengzhou City, where the Group's existing production facilities are located, has increasingly been developed into new commercial and residential developments, which have resulted in the appreciation of land prices. As such, the directors of the Company (the "Directors") foresee that the costs of operating its production facilities within the city area will rise in the near future. Accordingly, the Company intends to relocate the Group's production facilities to new premises in the suburban areas of Zhengzhou City (the "Synear Industrial District"). The Directors expect that it will take approximately four years to complete the construction of the aforesaid facilities, with the first phase of construction comprising cold storage warehouses to be completed within one year." Commentary: When the company vacates it's current premises - the landlord will be free to re-develop it - giving the landlord a significant exit strategy. Also while the company is awaiting its new facilities Mr. Li Wei & managers from Synear can foresee operting costs like rental will increase bcos landlord Mr LiWei from Henan Sinian will raise rents in the near near future. LiWei being the same LiWei. Great foresight. The CEO who resigned does not seem to hold much if any shares. He is the nuts & bolts guy. Contrast the backgrounds of the ex-CEO vs. Chairman From their website: Li Jinzhou Joint ex-Chief Executive Officer In June 1970, Mr Li started his career as an assistant foreman assisting in the production operations of Zhengzhou Rouliandongli Factory, a company engaged in the sale of meat products, until March 1993. From April 1993 to August 1997, Mr Li worked in Zhengzhou City Zhengrong Frozen Food Co., Ltd., a company engaged in the sale of meat products, as a foreman, and subsequently from September 1997 to January 1998, Mr Li worked in Zhengzhou No. 5 Grain Food Factory, a company engaged in the sale of food products, as a foreman. From February 1998 to December 2001, Mr Li was appointed as general manager of Synear Frozen, and from December 2001, he was appointed as general manager of Henan Synear, responsible for the overall management of its operations. Pursuant to the Restructuring Exercise, Mr Li was appointed the Joint Chief Executive Officer of our Group. Mr Li graduated from Henan Province Party School in 1982 with a diploma in Business Management. Li Wei Executive Chairman Mr Li started his career in July 1990 at Henan Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, a government unit in Henan Province for the inspection of the product quality of local manufacturers, and was responsible for the marketing of this government unit until May 1995. From June 1995 to August 1999, Mr Li was appointed chairman of Henan Province Tianlong Industrial Co., Ltd, a company engaged in the trading and sales of ice-cream products, and from June 1997 to December 2001, he was appointed legal representative and executive director of Synear Frozen. Upon the incorporation of Henan Synear, he was appointed as its legal representative and executive director responsible for its business direction and development. Since December 1995, he has also been the legal representative and executive director of Zhengzhou Huanghe Daguan Co., Ltd., a company engaged in the business of property development. Pursuant to the Restructuring Exercise, Mr Li was appointed as director of our subsidiary, Zhengzhou Synear and the Executive Chairman of our Group. Mr Li graduated from Zhengzhou University in 1990 with a degree in journalism. Wang Peng. The current CEO, 34 holds 4% of shares. Trained as a civil engineer. 2 years in the joint CEO job. Son of LiWei's cousin The dumpling leader in China? The fear among many investors is that the skin of the dumpling will thicken metaphorically when cooked by said journalist & civil engineer and be not as tasty. Hence - the selloff so says 2cent analyst. yes? on the way to $0.54 says 20cent shortists. BTW - Are dumplings very very good? Mr Warren Buffet wants a moat, a castle & strong law & order. |

Beware if it breaks 64c below. It's for purely technical reasons it rebounded off there (Use Fibonacci extension). Until accumulation happens again (could be very fast, but I'm not too bullish abt the market now), even 70c is a stretch. There is another resistance around 68c. |
