i read your post with high interest on how your stock screener.. I am not good at indicator, Do yu mind help me to do screening on Innovalu because I plan to buy after seeing it went down to 5-year low and begin to pick up, can you help confirm if Innovalu 's indicators are going up??

your post reminds me on what I read once, some investors did like what you do, HOLD long time. But cannot help being a gambler once in a while. So what they did is to park their 'investment money' allocated to various areas as they felt confortable. then allocate 10% of their total holding, use this 10% to speculate and gambler, for the fun, for TA learning, .because they can take the loss for this 10% relatively.. may be you are close to becoming this type, just my guess... no offence..thought this SJ is for sharing experience

Could this be similar to that of the Centillion? When the real owner decided to dump the shares in very big lots, what to expect on price but drop? May need a new knight to pick up large ownership else who will support the share price?

huatah,

from the way you described, it sounded familiar to my own experience. I hold for long time and do not bother at all. After some years I looked back. Some counters went 'dead' some boom like mad. I did not really need to know too much at that time on TA. I read from some ah peh success stories and found sometime it is good to act that way. I knew a few ah peh who buy only when crash... then hold like 5-10 years. All his holding were a few time more...

One thing I learnt from some of this ah peh experience and my own is I can now pick up some 'good companies' and some 'i do not think good companies/industries'.

This time this SJ forum help a lot on the TA side. I hope we all benefit out of various methods decribed by people who are very willing to share.

hello huatah, you are thinking 0.955 to 1.02, that sounds like a very small change and thus very low safety of margin.

In my opinion, semiconductor business is just too competitive, too much capital investment, too much technological risk on product changes, obsoletion, etc.
we can benefit a lot more on other counters, i think even a China ETF and India ETF is a better bet.Just wait for Current Pakistan situation , which affect india market to go down further, when more quite down, buy and keep for 6-9 month... haha, may be 20-25% good luck

This counter went all the way down to 5year low after fund managers sold over last few months.

Now that the 'bottom' seems to be formed and Chairman buy and buy, perhaps this is good time to buy and keep for intermediate terms.

x 0 x 0 * Alert Admin	aiyah, whatever postings or views. the best is still Singgal. she never have to worried of the markets coz she has a simple and effective trading system which keep her out of the bad markets. i have yet to read her feeling vexed or anything excpet that the market is low volume. lol come join me in forex, where there is not such problem with bull or bear market conditions, volume or short problems. in forex u can long or short anytime. bull or bears only exist in the stock markets. forex is forever neutral. even if the stocks market is recession now also the same for forex. dun believe? try it or check it out urself.

certainty is back to market and recovery will start from 26th November 2007 till 14/18 January 2008....buy on any dip for recovery as market will try higher high (rather than lower low from 15th Oct - 23rd November, and higher high for 23rd August - 15th October)....as always said, market will be the best judge for our call (see now around 3300 plus and in 14/18 January 2008 the index)....good luck :)

Hi, I read from some posts that it takes 5 days for conversion of warrant to mother shares. IN other places I read that warrant must be exercised 5 days before the expiry date.

Can some kind people explain how long is the time of conversion?
