Macau's economy contracted for the third straight quarter for the three months to June, shrinking by 13.7 per cent. In real terms, Macau's economy has fallen by 13 per cent for the first half.

DJ MARKET TALK: Macq Ups Genting Singapore Target 62.9% To S$1.14 0210 GMT [Dow Jones] STOCK CALL: Macquarie raises Genting Singapore (G13.SG) target price to S$1.14 from S$0.70, after adjustments to discounted cash flow valuation to reflect improved prospects; "Genting Singapore's recent outperformance will likely persist, as it continues to execute on Sentosa. As we near the January 2010 opening, project risk should decline and earnings visibility increase." Cleared all my holdings at 975c-995c. No regret. Do not think it will hold above the water level of $1.20 for long... Will collect again if it falls below 85c... Just my personal views. |
