company fundamentals and stock price(subject to market play)  are two different things...

and charts only reflects   stock price done and timeline.... which is technical in nature.

how will " known and unknown fundamentals" are all reflected in the charts ?

for one to find first hand " news" in the charts which only show history data, that is even more funny ?

iPunter      ( Date: 04-Oct-2011 10:18) Posted:

All the fundamentals in the whole world,

known fundamentals, as well as unknown fundamentals,

are all reflected in the stock's chart itself...

which means to say, first hand 'news'

can be found in the chart.

Newbies find this hard to grasp...  Smiley

For me, I am purely a TA trader.... As I only believe what I analyst from the chart than anyone... I only trust my charts.... lol

xing78      ( Date: 04-Oct-2011 01:49) Posted:

A mixture of both.

TA when looking at charts for swing trades using Cash money.

FA to spot the counters that Fund Managers finds cheap and to accumulate for long term using CPF money.

:p

I agree that most counters will dived and reach historical low if a market crash plays out , could be this year or next year (nobody knows exactly). I try to spot counters which have good values (more than 40% discount against NAV) and with strong BBs / Fund Managers as major stake-holders when going long in this uncertain times. At least, they will drop at a slower rate against other counters which are over-priced. My view is not to long any counter that is priced above it's NAV during this volatile period. It will be very difficult to buy right at the bottom, so I am just trying to fish out some of these counters with good price against NAV and put them inside my watch-list should there be a short term bottom occurring at end of October. Of course NAV can also be moving down together with the price during market crash. :p

I afraid to inform you that any rebound is temporary....  Most counters will be going for historic low.....

Never trade against main trend.....  Only can short on rebound.... If tonight Dow really drop -500pt, then I am sure the markets will crash.....
