aircraft,

basically two types of images: one is image that are already hosted in some website, then it is easy. you can read the second part of my post ( see below link)

second type is image that is NOT hosted in website, like those in your computer or those you read from reports and you want to extract the image for posting, then more complex, you need to use a 'free' image hosting website to help.  please read the following posts. and try it.. hope this helps

 It is just their formality to get SGX approval first before this thing showed up. Read their announcement last night, SGX in principle approval. So today you see what you want to see the CR remark.

But doesn't seem like it, b'cos there's no indication that the Cum-Rights is going on at the stock counters. There should be a "CR" on the counter.

Neither is there any indicated on the SGX web site.

Anyone can advise?

They branch out of their usual Electronic business and venture into Building Material Supply. To support material supply they invested a lot of capital into Marine Logistics.

When CEO change this business plan, he aimed for less dependent on Electronic. As first i read many people were skeptical about new business since it took long time to start new business. however, i was surprise on their ability to get big material supply contract and ended up making money on last financial year in face of very difficult business environment.

I suggest read up their news and financial reports and their presentation materials so as to make up thinking on this company.

Sigh...  this is one of the frustration when we are looking at shares.

Who did not meet the followings?

Kepcorp 3.35, Kepland 0.7, SPC 1.77, Kep T T 0.68, DBS 6.4, just list a few recent low...

So it is interesting to play share. But one must decide somehow to act or choose to wait.

by the way hindsight is always correct. but very often it does not help much.

Yes..that is why i say now it is trading Cum RIghts, and it is better to consider buy now, rather than wait till nil paid rights is traded

lionsword87      ( Date: 28-May-2009 00:27) Posted:

ic .. so asssume the nil-paid is trading @ $0.305, the toal cost of purchase would add up to $0.305 + 0.59 + commission(+) = $0.895 ++ ?

If your plan is to buy nil-paid rights from market and convert to mother shares, you need to be aware that your total cost of purchase is equal to sum of three below:

1. market price of nil-paid rights

2. trade commission ++ of item 1

3. convert nil paid rights to mother shares, $0.59 per share. This must be done before the Closing date 24 June.

While the CCT is now trading Cum-Rights, it is better to consider buy from market mother share come with Rights, that decision is yours.

No one can predict with 100% accuracy what will happen on June 2, and June 3. The market will decide prices when it is traded.

lionsword87      ( Date: 27-May-2009 23:44) Posted:

Hi Alligator, I have some enquires on the trading of “nil-paid” rights that I hope you can answer me …

Assuming CapitaCom last traded price at 2 june is $1.20. On 3 june the price will be adjusted to reflect the inclusion of your rights shares, which works out to be $0.895.

If I intend to buy the nil-paid rights starting from 10 june to 18 june, the nil-paid rights will work out to be (mother share price - rights issue price). For example, if the mother share now trades at $0.895, the nil-paid rights should be trading at $0.895 - $0.59 = $0.305.

My question is, how much will I be paying for the rights? Will I be paying $0.305 or more?

Neptune Orient Lines (NOL) (NEPS.SI), the world’s seventh largest shipping company, said its container arm APL is planning to raise freight rates on Asia-Europe trade routes starting next month, reported Thomson Reuters.

APL said it will raise its eastbound Europe to Asia leg by US$100 ($145) per container for scrap commodities such as paper, while the westbound Asia to Europe trade lane will see a rise of US$300 per twenty-foot container for all freight to the Mediterranean and North Europe. The industry has been facing slumping demand that has forced operators including NOL to reduce capacity, though policymakers have recently pointed to some signs of stabilisation in the world economy and economists are looking at shipping trade as an indicator.

“Despite the relative success of initiatives we implemented earlier this year, rates in the Asia-Europe trade are not even close to sustainable levels. We will be doing everything possible to ensure the latest rises are upheld,” said Detlev Kerber, APL’s vice-president for Asia-Europe trade.

NOL reported a worse-than-expected first quarter loss of US$245 million. It has seen its cargo volume slide by 26% from the start of the year until May 1 compared to a year ago, while average revenue per forty-foot container dropped 17% in this period.

Shareholder of Capitaland WILL NOT BE entitled to Capital Commercial Trust Rights issue.

If you want to have CCT Rights, then you must buy the CCT shares in the market before Ex-Rights date.

hi guys, very much a newbie here. correct me if im wrong which i think surely is.. haha.. understand that Capitaland has also bought some of these CCT rights. Will shareholders of capitaland be able to subscribe to these rights? if so, whats the process like? will they send a letter to say that capitaland holders are eligible to subscribe that kind? Thks a lot!

consolidation means your share is now 10 time less in number at the same time the price went up 10x so the market cap remained unchanged

Now that you hold 1400,  the 400 is odd lot, many people dun like to hold odd lot, but there is nothing wrong to just hold them. you do not need to BUY more or SELL the odd lot if you dum mind holding. When you want to sell odd lot, contact your broker.

However if you dun like to hold odd lot, then you can use the existing counters to buy or sell odd lot, to your satisfaction if you MUSY HOLD thousands.

yes, someday the odd lot counter will cease to be listed. unless there is a high demand on trading activitied, such as singtel and SIA still keep odd lot counters due to demand.

I need help?! I don't quite understand their meaning of consolidation. Currently i hold 14000 shares but after consolidating, i have 1400 shares.. Does this mean that i need to buy-in another 600 shares to make it 2000, sell 400 to make it 1000 or i can just leave it at 1400?? Will this Chartered SC100 remain forever or have expiry date and by when will it expire, if there is ?? Need help!! Thanks !!!

read their announcement .. it is 41 cents ex-rights based on 45 b4 announcement

work out: 100x 45 cents=4500

17x18cents=306

add them 4806

divide by 117===>>> 4806/117==41.07 == theorethical ex-right trading price  (TERP)

warrant is simply given to you at 2 warrant for every 5 rights. Warrant has 3 year expiry, it gives you the rights to subscribe for new mother share at a pretermined price of ( S$0.54). it means within the three years if you want to convert to mother share, you pay  S$0.54 each.

To exercise your warrant you follow the procedure by the warrant agent

Warrant, when listed in SGX , can be traded also, just like share.

Warrant, when expired, will also become worthless.

You have basically 3 options

1. Exercise your Rights , pay for it, then you get rights converted to mother shares and you have some warrant.

2. Sell away your rights during rights trading period

3. Do nothing, then see your shares get diluted by the new rights and warrant when other exercise.
