Guys, my opinion is paying for participating in a forum is BULLSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH and STUPPPPPPPPPPPD. In fact the forum owners should pay you for it, because through your participation in the forum, they can attract plenty of advertisers and make tons of money from them. So don't go for pay to give ideas. |

Just my own opinion hor..:)
I think they trying to get more people to 'pay' and join their Forum.
If a free Forum can make me my own 'target profit', why i have to pay 'so much' for joining a Forum which they dont GURARNTEE my profits.

"Fortune telling" usually covers a longer frame of time. After the market came down 1987 before ending in 1997 (10 years) the next phase of bull started slowly from 1998/1999 when the market seemed to have bottomed. During those years the prices of properties were cheap. Condos unless in good location is usually not a good investment. Many people with poor locality got stuck even upto today. So I don't know whether 2001 was bearish, but it appears to be inside the 10 year bullish cycle. It is noted that bear period is mostly shorter than bull, and the commencement time can overlap with the bull and vice versa.

I think China is now very worried of the US dollars sliding daily....after buying more and more US bad debt since last year, China has become 'primary holder' of US treasury.......
China needs to diversify its foreign exchange reserves basket," said Zhang Ming, economist with the Institute of Finance and Banking at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. "Its holdings of these treasuries face the danger of a price drop as the US is expected to issue more bonds to stimulate its economy," he told China Daily.
With US interest rates at near-zero levels, the dollar's value may slide, and its recent strong rally may not sustain, economists said. The sliding dollar will push down treasury debt prices, economists said.

Geithner: Confidence stabilizing dollar -- report
By William L. Watts
LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Investors are confident in the U.S. government's ability to maintain sustainable growth, which in turn has helped stabilize the value of dollar assets, U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner told Beijing-based magazine Caijing, in an interview published Wednesday. Geithner was quoted as telling the magazine that China and the United States have a shared interest in safeguarding the value of the dollar. "Our interest is in trying to make sure both American and global investors know that U.S. markets are strong in liquidity and offer stability," he said, according to the report

But I thought one cylce is 10 years. Last two rounds of bull were if not wrong, around 1998/1999 to 2008/2009 and from 1987/8 to 1997/1998.
If we base on 10 years bear-bull cycles, I think next bear could come around 2018 or 2019.
I think it is hard to predict the market.
Hahaha. |

Perhaps, this hidden baby who bad-rate the posts, could come out and comment how 'bad' is the contents instead of giving 'bad rating' hiding behind his/her mother's apron and still smelling of his/her monther's milk or still crying for more 'milk milk' mummy'..........hahaha

Risktaker,
People in this forum will rally together each time when you made such fallacious comments. If you really got some genuine target price or news that you want to show off to us, by all means, just shout a 'Target price' and make sure it really hits right on the spot, if not, we thank you if you could just keep comments to yourself !

sorry i cant help laughing at this sentence that midas is going above 0.90 :) You think Zhou Yu will let this happen ?
keepnosecrets ( Date: 13-Oct-2009 08:20) Posted:
Looks like Midas will try 90 and above these one to three trading sessions. But beware of BBs' trapping you strategies. In other words, buy up slowly and not to rush at every gap up. Just continue to queue up to buy at the bidding price is much safer. This counter has always been in BBs' firm control, but this time I think they have to give way to the market sentiments. |

Short Seller Fleckenstein: I'll Start Selling AFTER Earnings Season
Fleckenstein Capital's twelve-year-old short-selling fund that shut down last December is planning to start hunting around again for opportunities.
Yet they're waiting until after earnings season, and could even wait until early next year.
For Fleckenstein Capital, while 2010 could be a very rough year for the market, 2009 could end strong. Even these shorts don't want to step in front of earnings season right now.
Bloomberg: Future bets against U.S. stocks will “almost certainly” include technology companies, especially semiconductor makers, Fleckenstein said.
“They’re going to report good earnings, but a lot of it is a function of double- and triple-ordering, so their businesses are going to look better than they really are,” he said.
In a Bloomberg TV interview, Bill Fleckenstein said he expects weak businesses to run into trouble next year, especially if rates start rising. Nevertheless it appears he wants to see the economy's "less worse" trend come to an end before he takes action.
What does he favor in the meantime? Shares in gold related companies

SMRT has more to come in next 10 or 20 years, Midas can bid for that also if they dont think it is a project too small to take on compared to China.

still holding waiting for 6 fold return.. target 1.8 next yrs . This year target to breach 1 dollar..
Midas already clinch more than enough contracts, now is waiting for them to fulfill the contracts $$$$.. Also hope they have lock in low raw material commodities for aluminium for earning surprises.. Need to beat those analyst profit forcast for the multiplier effect on share price |
