Just wondering is SPC doing any share buyback since their results are out & sold ItalSing for $8 million, to support their ridiculous current grossly oversold unrealistic share price. |

This should be good news for SPC: Reuters report mentioned : "Margins rose in September as benchmark U.S. crude oil <CLc1> prices plunged from a record near-$150 a barrel in July to around $100 by the end of the quarter. " |

Shortist just be careful, dun get short. It could have been priced in, look at the chart, it had dropped from jun $7 plus to current price $3 and market may have discounted the news & are forward looking. Business Times article dated 29/9 (Value investing in the local mkt), Merril Lynch analyst anticipates that "there will be a sharp rebound in Singapore refining marginsfrom mid-Sept, when demand from China is expected to return to pre-Olympicslevel and seasonal demand kicks in". |
