Swiber bags SE Asia bundle

Swiber has secured offshore construction projects worth a total of $109 million in South-East Asia.

The contracts with oil majors cover offshore construction work in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam as well as chartering of support vessels and execution of subsea and related projects.

The work will be carried out in the second quarter of this year and third quarter of 2012, Swiber said, without specifying individual projects.

The latest deals bring the offshore construction contractor’s total orderbook for the year to date to $295 million this year.

Meanwhile, subsea services subsidiary Kreuz said it has won subsea contracts worth about $44 million in Indonesia and Thailand, of which about $32 million is sourced from the parent company.

couple of factors are indicating that yzj is poised for a move up..

1) it is in oversold position for almost 1 week

2) it's paying 4.5 c divy..

hence any price weakness would be an opportunity to collect some more..as the stock will be moving up from its oversold position n

supported by its dividend..
