True be it , the timing is important as you mentioned. I am one for patience, but what I mean by stagnant water is those stocks that doesnt move a crap for months and when they move , its either they get delisted or some big news happen. When you say before it really go up or rocket up, I totally disagree cause counters that are fundamentally good will slowly inch up and not rocket upwards.... when something rocket upwards, most of the time, its short -lived and will go down to the stagnant water level again ...

Always. those still vested in this counter, cross your fingers for its debut listing in KRX.

Most people lose because of Fear and Greed at the wrong time. So market volatile in short term is just normal and unpredictable, in long term is much more predictable if u buy the right stock at the right px. Is stagnant water the worse??? Many time some good stock just stagnant for long time before it really start rocket up, it depend what stock u buy (patience is one of the key to good investing). Only stage 1 and stage 2 player Fearing and greedy without knowing what they really want.

STOCK market works primarily on 2 factors = FEAR and GREED

Without them, the stock market will not be volatile = no movement = no profits or losses.

stagnant water is the worse..

Bruce Lee philosophy about martial art. Stage 1, when people learn kungfu, it very easy. A punch is a punch, a kick is a kick. Stage 2, they start to get more knoweldge, learn more and complex move. Now a punch is not a punch, a kick is not a kick anymore. Stage 3, after they learn all what they had to learn and get more exprience. They tell themself, it easy, a punch is a punch and a kick is just a kick, it so easy. Stage 4, only those who master and see beyond know this, so i tell also no use. (as i also havent reach this stage, it super hard, only those real master investor legend had reach this stage 4) In stock market many lose because they havent clear stage 1 and many still struck at stage 2, those lucky had reach stage 3 and the rare can reach stage 4. Dont worry, win or lose just be happy. Cause happy life and happy family is more important in life till your last breath.

We are poised for next week's rally. These 2 day's in the market is good. As mentioned, this week 41c to 43c range is good for long term... I had hope for upwards "chiong"or rush but am happy that this counter turns out to have very good support.

The rally is coming...

Want to know why DOW close flat yesterday? Cause "Morgan Stanley and jobless claims came in better than expected" minus (-) "China overheated economy fears" equals (=) "flat"

People are looking towards China , the next powerhouse rather than US. Despite the drop in initial job claims which is good news, but it will still be in the red.

Why it has all the factors to rally on the week of trading:

Smiley
Gaoxian supplies to the domestic market in China which is a tremendous growth story and Gaoxian is an indirect play on retail consumption in China.

Smiley As a result, nine times out of 10, the winner is going to be the one who is the biggest. And Gaoxian is the biggest.”

Smiley Intention to use the proceeds from the Korean dual listing to move upstream by creating its own PET chips supply in order to expand its profit margins. This vertical integration is a complicated endeavour but it’s a very good story. In all manufacturing companies, vertical integration is a very key point and a winner when you talk to institutional investors. At the end of the day, it’s about size and economies of scale.”

Smiley Compared to its peers in Korea on a trailing 12-month basis, Gaoxian is heavily discounted by about 50% to its Korean comparables.”

Smiley About 4X for the institutional demand. Given the various investor concerns that I have mentioned, this 4X subscription rate is a good one.

Smiley Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank and Nomura took up sizeable chunks of the deal … the majority were taken up by Korean institutions.
