1) All those plans announced by the EU on Oct 26th seems to be just a joke. We never see any  implementation and details being released after that and funny is Market rally because they thought EU has a plan..... Germany has refused to turn ECB into a money printing machine. Which resulted investors to withdraw funds from EU and bonds. Massive withdrawal from the European market are seem over the past week. No one is even sure that EURO will survived this crisis. Confidence are seem dropping across the globe regarding how Europe Union handle their debts crisis. Germany are not willing to share its burden of its neighbor and without their support, Bond yields will continue to surge.

What could eventually happen ?

---- Summarized Version ----

Scenario 1) Germany finally give in to the demands by turning ECB into a money printing machine and promise to buy unlimited amount of debts or provide 100% guarantee to investors in an event of default. A panel or commission will be setup to oversee those members states budget to ensure their budget is sustainable and return growth. Market will SUPER Rally.

Scenario 2) Germany refuse to give to the market demands and bond yields surge. New action plan are discussed however the implementation are slow. Market may have a short rally.

Scenario 3) Germany refuse to give to the market demands and bond yields surge. EURO collapsed. Market will plunge like no body business. US/China will be drag into this mess. There will be War/Conflict in Europe in the next few years.

2) The United States are suppose to have a Debt deal on this Wednesday and I learn that even if US didnt manage to have a deal on Wednesday.  The same people that are proposing the cuts are preparing a legislation to block the automatic cut across its budget. This is ridiculous....

3) China is facing tough decisions as their exports has slowed tremendously in Oct as exports to Europe seems rapidly slowly.

We most likely to have a technical rebound first.

In last week, STI lost 61 points from the opening of 2791 and close lower at 2730. A black candle sticks with little upper shadow indicates that investors have no hesitant in selling the stocks lower.

Key Economics Data report:

On Friday, a high-profile meeting to trim stubborn U.S. budget deficits appeared near collapse as Democrats rejected a scaled-back proposal from Republicans that contained few tax increases.

However unlike budget standoffs in April and August, failure would not lead to a government shutdown or a sovereign debt default.

Technical Analysis on STI

STI index has broke the minor support at 2778 in this week as investors sell on news of further Europe debts woes.

1)  In weekly chart, a black candle sticks with little upper shadow affirms that investors are cautious and prefer to take profit off the table.

2)  The weekly trading volume falls as STI trend slightly downwards due to profit taking.

3)  MACD and RSI indicators are bearish as RSI trend downwards.

4) STI is currently supported by the critical support at 2679

5) The support at 2679 is expected to be strong and likely to trigger bulls to fight back near that level.

Important resistance of STI: 2778 (Daily charts)

Immediate Support of STI: 2679 (Daily charts)

Recently SMRT many people has several bad experience with SMRT.

1) Train Fault - which require all passengers to alight at the next station. Oh yes and it did happened in a few occasion recently during the peak hours. Passenger has to wait for next 2-3 train at least before they can continue their journey.

2) Air-Con not working ? Just imagine the train is pack with people and the air con is not working... eek.

3) Sudden Brake of the train ? Anything wrong with the train, track or the staff?

Seriously I think SMRT has some problems internally..... There is no quality in its services anymore... Whats going on in Singapore? Its not like this few years back.

Dow is doing just  about 25 point under 12K  Trying hard to break up but failed a few times.  If it can turn resistance to support, then we will have a good year ending 2011, only one and half months to countdown.. Barring any further crisis coming, this is a rather crucial period to watch.
